1. About DoorShield

DoorShield is a movement-detection and alarm aid intended to provide an additional layer of personal security for doors, bags, luggage and other items.

2. No guarantee of prevention

DoorShield cannot guarantee that theft, loss, unauthorised entry, damage or personal harm will be prevented. It is not a replacement for locks, insurance, secure storage, emergency services or sensible safety precautions.

3. User responsibility

You are responsible for selecting suitable settings, positioning your phone or sensor securely, testing the system before use, maintaining sufficient battery power and using DoorShield lawfully and safely.

4. Sensor compatibility

Sensor Mode requires compatible Bluetooth hardware. Performance may vary depending on the sensor, phone, operating system, distance, physical obstructions, battery condition and local wireless environment.

5. Alarm and notification limitations

Alarms and notifications may be affected by volume settings, silent modes, operating-system restrictions, battery-saving settings, Bluetooth interruptions or device failure.

6. Future products and features

References to the DoorShield Smart Sensor, DoorShield Pro, Amazon availability or other future functionality describe current plans only. Designs, features, prices, dates and availability may change.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use DoorShield unlawfully, to interfere with another person’s property or privacy, or in any way that could create danger.

8. Intellectual property

DoorShield names, branding, software, graphics and website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated as DoorShield develops. The current version will be published on this website.
