DoorShield is designed to provide movement-based personal security while minimising unnecessary collection of personal information. This policy explains the information that may be processed when you use the DoorShield application, website or support services.

2. Information the app may use

Depending on the features you choose, DoorShield may use device motion information, Bluetooth connectivity, notification permissions, local alarm history and settings stored on your device. Movement detection does not require continuous camera or microphone recording.

3. Bluetooth and sensor information

When Sensor Mode is used, the app may process Bluetooth device identifiers, connection status, signal information and battery information needed to operate the feature.

4. Website and support enquiries

If you contact support, we may receive your name, email address, device information and the details you choose to include in your message. This information is used to answer your enquiry and improve DoorShield.

5. How information is used

Information may be used to operate DoorShield, provide support, diagnose technical problems, maintain security, understand product performance and meet legal obligations.

6. Data sharing

DoorShield does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only where necessary to operate support, hosting, analytics or distribution services, and where appropriate safeguards apply.

8. Your choices

You can manage app permissions through your device settings. Removing Bluetooth or notification permission may prevent some DoorShield features from operating correctly.
